I recently told you about Shutterfly's 50 free cards for bloggers. Well I finally ordered my Christmas Cards and since I don't send out 50 cards I used the remaining credits to make the cards below. Every year since my father passed away in 2007 I gift his little grandchildren and great grandchildren chocolate advent calendars. It was his tradition, and this is my way of keeping his memory alive. I'm really excited to have these awesome cards to send out as well. Computerized Preschool for Utah Children

Upstart, a state-subsidized program for children ages 4 and 5 is now open for preregistration.  This computer based preschool is intended help children prepare for kindergarten.  In order to participate in this free program you must commit to spending 15 minutes a day working with your child on various subjects including: reading, math, and science.  This program is free for Utah residents.  Low income families can apply for a free computer and internet access during the duration of the program.

Kmart Backs Out!

What does Kmart and KFC have in common.... Perhaps neither has the decency to honor their own promotions?

After a high number of the $10 off $20 coupons were redeemed Kmart decided to change the promotion making it only valid only in the Chicago area. If you printed it out before the the change you should be able to use it at any store, however many people are complaining that their local store is refusing to accept the coupon. This is a tactless move for the company being as the coupon was a legitimate Kmart Promotion offered on the Kmart website. The coupon even states "Valid at all Kmart store locations."

Walmart does not have a coupon policy and sometimes will not offer overage, it depends on the employee. It seems like you are more likely to get overage if you place your coupon items at the front of your check out, and then give the employee all of your coupons after all items have been scanned.

If you don't want to risk the possibility of not getting overage, you can still score 6 free Suave deodorants by printing Two $1.25 off Suave 24 hr Deodorant and Two $3/2 Suave 24 hr Deodorants. Select the smaller $.97 cent deodorant and they will all be free.
