Denny's Grand Slam

Tomorrow, Feb 9, from 6am -2pm Denny's is once again offering a Free Original Grand Slam for every dine-in customer. This deal doesn't include drinks or tip and is limited to dine-in customers only (1 per person). Last year an estimated 2 million people showed up for this deal, creating long lines and filling parking lots. Some business owners even resorted to towing Denny's customers to allow space for their own clientele. Businesses located close to Denny's restaurant, and people who found their vehicles towed last year know that Free Grand Slam day isn't only a bad day for chickens (as stated in Denny's Superbowl ad). This year maybe just as crazy, but if you dare to brave the storm free eggs and pancakes do sound yummy.

Free Kind Bar At Starbucks - Feb 5, 2010

Starbucks will be giving out free KIND bars on Feb. 5, 2010 at all of their 7,000 stores across the country. You can try either the Fruit & Nut Delight or Cranberry Almond+Antioxidants. Both bars are made with whole natural ingredients and sell for $1.95 at Starbucks. KIND Snacks reports that they are considering a future promotion that would give customers a KIND bar when they perform a kind act... so be nice.

Free Scholastic Book - No Mail In Requirements

Pampers is now offering a free scholastic book with no mail in requirements. All you have to do is take advantage of their "Lets Get Ready For Preschool" website and then take this short survey. The survey basically wants to know if you've found their information useful. It doesn't specify which book they will be sending, but I imagine it will be the "Giraffes Can't Dance," which they are also offering with a mail in UPC promotion.

The story is about a giraffe that feels bad about himself because he is the only animal that can't dance. The giraffe discovers that he can dance, but he must listen to the beat of his own drum. The other animals embrace him for his new self confidence. Its a cute book with bright illustrations.
