I've just discovered an great e-community called
CityMommy.com. The great thing about this site is that it gives mothers the opportunity to connect with other mom's based on geographical location. Because CityMommy is split up by city the members are better able to share information and opinions on local topics such as: schools, pediatricians, parks, and family entertainment. Its a great place to get connected in your community.
